The City of White Plains has been selected to participate in the Youth Climate Action Fund, supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies.
This opportunity allows the City to fund micro-grants to rapidly launch and support youth-led climate initiatives. White Plains organizations that serve youth ages 15-24 can apply for up to $5,000 for a project to help facilitate climate action within our city.
We are excited to see what the brilliant young minds of today can do to combat climate change and benefit our community through innovation in topics such as: the environment and natural resources, clean energy, reducing greenhouse gasses, and climate resilience/adaptation.
The round 2 application period has officially closed.
See the flyer below for a list of the Round 2 funded projects around White Plains!
Together we can help make a difference!
