Title: Council Member

Jeremiah Frei-Pearson lives in Gedney Farms, White Plains.  Jeremiah previously lived in downtown, White Plains, where he manages a progressive law firm that employs over 15 people in the City.  Jeremiah’s law firm represents people who have been treated unfairly by powerful corporations, and judges have appointed Jeremiah as class counsel in several landmark cases, including reform cases that dramatically improved conditions in unsafe and understaffed nursing homes, and wage and hours cases that achieved record-setting recoveries for workers who were victims of wage theft.  Jeremiah is a graduate of Stanford Law School and Skidmore College.

Jeremiah has long been involved in public service, starting as an intern for Senator Ted Kennedy.   Jeremiah is the former Chair, and current member, of the Mayor’s Committee for Disabilities and the White Plains Sustainability Committee.  Jeremiah currently chairs the Youth Board.  He has been involved in numerous leadership positions, and currently serves on the Board of Meals of Wheels of White Plains and the Hudson Valley Legal Services Corporation.
