Wind chills and strong winds are expected this weekend! - Resources for Residents

Dangerous wind chills and strong winds are expected this weekend with sub-zero wind chills as cold as -5 to -25 throughout that time period. The National Weather Service advises the following:

  • Snow will accompany the arctic front, with around 1-2 inches forecast.
  • Strong gusty NW winds (near 50 mph gusts) expected Saturday morning through Saturday evening.
  • Subzero wind chills arrive on Saturday, with dangerous well below zero wind chills for much of the area late Saturday into early Sunday.
